Medium grade #8 which is 1 inch thick and very dense.
This material is fire proof so it can be used inside fireplace surrounds or in industrial machines that need a insulation barrier.  Make sure to have a metal barrier between the insulation and the heat source.
You are bidding on a 1 foot section of this material.  For each quantity you purchase,  you will get a continuous foot.  ie, if you purchase 6 qty, you will get 6 foot by 2 foot by 1 inch.
Kaowool blankets feature controlled density, high tensile strength, and
resiliency and are classified to 1260°C (2300°F). Cerablanket is
classified up to 1315°C (2400°F) and is a spun blanket manufactured from
a high purity blend of alumina-silica. Cerachem and Cerachrome offer
excellent chemical stability and strength and have superior acoustic as
well as thermal insulation characteristics. They are classified to
1426°C (2600°F).
