Description

This
material is fire proof so it can be used inside fireplace surrounds or
in industrial machines that need a insulation barrier.  It is a good
idea to
have a metal barrier between the insulation and the heat source but a
metal barrier is not necessary.  The insulation can be exposed directly
to high fire temperatures.  This material is best described as a dense
fiberglass type of material which can withstand extreme temperatures. 
Regular house pink fiberglass insulation can only be exposed to
temperatures around 400 degrees.  This material can be exposed to
temperatures around 2400 degrees.

High Grade #8 which is a total of 1/2 inch thick and 24 inches wide.
You
are bidding on a 1 foot section of this material.  For each quantity
you purchase,  you will get a continuous foot.  ie, if you purchase 6
qty, you will get 6 foot by 2 foot by 1/2 inch.
We
ship using Priority Mail except for orders of 3 feet as the cost of
Priority Mail is higher than the cost of the product.  Below 3 feet quantities
are shipped First Class Mail which takes a few days longer.  For faster
