The Mandrake leaves and rootlets for this infused ritual oil were harvested on the October Full Moon, October 1st, 2020, as the plant itself was brought into its winter home. The Mandragora plant is now 6 years old, and the roots extend 15 inches in length, as you can see in the photos.  When Mandrake is transplanted, many tiny rootlets naturally break off, and that is what is used in this ritual oil.  The actual Mandrake plant itself was not killed to make this anointing oil.  This is sustainably harvested and grown without chemicals.  Very limited supply.  Hopefully, I’ll be transplanting the Mandragora back to its summer home in time to make another batch of ritual oil for the Summer Solstice, 2021.  Stock up now for your ritual needs!
