Kent Taylor (1907-1987)-real name Louis William Weiss appeared in more than 110 films spanning 1931-1974, mostly B-movies, during his career, but is perhaps best known for his title role in the TV series, “Boston Blackie”, which aired 1951-1953, with 58 episodes. Taylor also starred as Captain Jim Flagg in the ABC TV Western: “Rough Riders” (1958-1959). His film roles included: “Merrily, We Go to Hell” in 1932, “I’m No Angel” (1933), “Death Takes a Holiday” (1934), “Payment on Demand” (1951), and “Track the Man Down” (1955.
